A and T are the parents of three maturing children. The family live in a five bedroom semi detached house in Ramsgate, Isle of Thanet. They love pets and have a puppy called Zoe.

A has a lot of Care experience and attended training in many areas such as diabetes, medication, and care planning.

This is an active family enjoying all types of activities from Swimming, Cycling, Karate and using the trampoline. A and T have made their home a good place to relax; it is a very calm environment.

The family live near a leisure centre where swimming is free to all children and young people. The family also enjoy camping, walking and holidays.

Approved Status: 

T and S are approved for two children (either gender) aged 5-18 years of age.

C is of white British descent  living with her nine year old son in a county cottage in Canterbury, Kent. 

C also has two older sons who live locally and will be able to provide support when necessary.

C has one room available for fostering.

C has gained various skills working within a professional care environment. (Domiciliary care, Nursing Home and Primary school).

Throughout her training and assessments C has shown a good understanding of issues that can affect children in care.

She shows commitment in wanting to try to enhance life opportunities for children by providing a safe and nurturing home environment.

C and her family are very active, often going to the coast and other outings during the Summer.

Approved Status: 

C is approved for one child aged 5-18 years of age (but would prefer 5-12 years of age).
